Methodology & disclosures
Each tool gets a 1–10 score on six criteria. The AdvisorAIStack Score is the weighted total, out of 100. We weight security and compliance heavily because these professionals handle client tax, financial and health data.

How we research
- Current scores come from desk research (rankings reviewed 2026-10-16): vendor pages, industry surveys such as the T3 advisor technology survey, and published reviews. We have not tested these tools hands-on yet.
- Security claims (for example "SOC 2 Type II") are what each vendor reports. We have not audited them. Ask the vendor for its current report.
- Every tool page lists its sources. Facts from third-party reports, or from sites that block automated checks, are labeled as partially verified.
- Ties: scores within 1 point count as a tie.
- Prices change often and many vendors only quote on request. Always confirm with the vendor.
- Research and drafting were done with the help of an AI assistant, and a human reviews before publishing.
