Become a referral partner
You already have the trust of business owners. A referral partnership lets you bring them an outside review of credits, benefits and costs without taking on the work or competing with your own services.
Free to join. You set appointments, and the experts do the rest.
- No cost to sign up as a referral partner.
- Your only job is to set the appointment. You introduce a business-owner client and book the conversation.
- You never have to service the client. DBR's specialists handle the analysis, presentation, close and ongoing service.
The value-add for your practice
For CPAs & accountants
Bring in specialist reviews (R&D credit studies, benefits and payroll-cost reviews, tariff refund support) that sit outside a typical compliance engagement, while you stay the client's primary adviser.
For financial advisors
Start a business-level conversation with owner clients that goes beyond the portfolio: cash flow, benefits, risk and cost.
For insurance agents
Broaden conversations about cost and protection to include tax credits, funding and technology costs, and add value to commercial and benefits relationships.
For your clients
A structured second look across six areas (Debt, Retirement, Expenses, Assets, Money, Security), with findings to verify before anyone acts.
How it works
This process is taken from Dreams Business Resources' partner program materials.
- Identify a business-owner client who could benefit from a review.
- Introduce them to the DREAMS Score review. There's no pressure, and you don't have to explain the tax code.
- DBR's team analyzes the business across the six areas.
- Findings are presented to the client, and you can stay involved.
- The client decides. Any opportunity is validated by qualified specialists first.
DBR describes the program as designed to "complement — never compete with" your existing professional relationships. It lists referral fees, revenue sharing and co-branded options as possible partner compensation. Terms vary and are confirmed one-on-one. Nothing here guarantees savings or income.
Check your own rules before you accept referral compensation. Professional standards and regulations (for example AICPA and state board rules on referral fees and disclosure, SEC/FINRA rules on solicitation and outside business activities, and state insurance laws) may require disclosure, consent or approval, or may prohibit it. We'll work within whatever your firm or regulator requires.
Due diligence materials: partners get access to supporting legal documentation after signing an NDA.
